Visit

Guests are greeted with smiling faces at Cary Presbyterian Church. Guests and members alike are greeted in a spirit of hospitality and grace, from parking spots right out front reserved for visitors, to the greeters who welcome everyone as they arrive before worship.

If you are worshiping with us for the first time, we’ll invite you to make a nametag so that others can greet you by name. During worship, members and visitors alike are invited to sign the Worship Registers, located in the pews.

Please wear whatever allows you to feel comfortable. Some dress up a bit; others keep it casual.

CPC has a variety of programs for children and youth. Sunday School classes are available for preschoolers through high school age with age-appropriate curriculum and dedicated volunteer teachers. Youth fellowship programs begin in 3rd grade and continue through high school, under the guidance of our Youth Fellowship Coordinator. Find out more about Faith Formation here.

Young children are welcome to participate in worship services with their families. Find out about our Children and Worship program here

Each Sunday, the “Officer of the Day,” one of our church elders or deacons, will be circulating in the narthex after worship to answer questions.

Our pastors or staff are happy to speak with you any time. Please feel free to contact the church office at 919-467-8700 or office@carypresbyterian.org

Joining a church family is a very important life event. The pastors, staff, and Session of Cary Presbyterian Church want to help you in making this commitment. Below are the ways you may join:

Baptism/Profession of Faith

Perhaps you have never joined a church before. Perhaps you have never been baptized. If not, you would be given the opportunity to join by professing the Christian Faith. Membership also includes the sacrament of Baptism. Anyone who has not yet been baptized, may simply receive the sacrament of Baptism at the time they are joining the church.   We accept all previous Christian baptisms.

Transfer of Letter

Members of another Christian church may join Cary Presbyterian by “transfer of letter of membership.” We will request the transfer of your certificate of membership on your behalf.

Reaffirmation of Faith

Perhaps you have not been an active member of a church for a while. If so, you may join by “reaffirmation of faith.” You are asked to reaffirm the vows you first affirmed when you joined a church.

Our pastors will be happy to speak with you about church membership.

Our sanctuary is wheelchair and walker accessible. The ushers can provide you with hearing assistance devices, lumbar support cushions, and even reading glasses if you forgot yours!
